Backlever Tips
The backlever is usually one of the first truly impressive moves beginners will learn on their calisthenics journey. There are plenty of progressions to get you there (make sure to follow us and stay tuned), but here are a few tips for that beautiful backlever
-Pushing your shoulders down
-Maintaining full body tension
-Arms and legs straight
-legs close together
-You can cheat a little while learning by bringing your hands closer together on the bar. This allows you to pinch your lats with your arms to hold your body up more easily
-Film yourself in order to improve your awareness and practice getting that straight line.
